What this beta accepts
Selected pages are rasterized on a white background. One image downloads directly; several images are packaged in a local store-only ZIP.
| Input feature | Current behavior | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Standard visible page content | Rendered | PDF.js draws the selected page content at the chosen resolution. |
| Selectable text and vectors | Rasterized | The image output contains pixels rather than editable PDF objects. |
| Form controls and annotation overlays | Not rendered | The beta exports page content without interactive overlay layers. |
| Password protection or damage | Rejected | No password entry or repair path is included in this beta. |

Questions and limits
Does my file leave this device?
No file content is sent by this tool. The active processing path runs in this browser and is covered by an automated egress test.
Does PigPDF change my source file?
No. The source stays unchanged and PigPDF creates a separate output file.
Which current limits apply?
This local beta creates a separate result in the browser. It rejects encrypted or damaged PDFs, keeps a 100 MB and 250-page guardrail, and does not claim to preserve unsupported interactive structures.
