About the project

PDF tools with evidence before promises

PigPDF is a global, privacy-first PDF toolkit. The product is being built around clear processing information, no account for basic tools and honest compatibility boundaries.

Product principle

Privacy is an implementation property

Supported local tools process files in the browser and are covered by automated egress tests.

  • No file upload, analytics, ads or external processing scripts inside active workspaces.
  • Every tool publishes its processing mode before file selection.
  • Outputs are new files; source documents are never overwritten.

Current scope

A 93-tool registry, 93 working local betas

The catalog is a public roadmap, not a claim that every listed feature already works.

  • BETA means the operation is real and tested, with an incomplete browser or device matrix.
  • POC REQUIRED means feasibility or safety still needs evidence.
  • DEPENDENCY REQUIRED means license, security and hosting review remain open.
  • PLANNED pages remain noindex until implementation and useful content exist.

Definition of done

LIVE is earned, not scheduled

A tool reaches LIVE only after processing, errors, mobile behavior, keyboard use, privacy checks and compatibility tests are complete.

  • WCAG 2.2 AA is the accessibility target.
  • Physical Safari, Firefox, mobile and screen-reader passes remain required.
  • Known limitations stay public after release.
Approved public claim

Browser-only processing for supported tools, verified through automated egress tests.
