What this beta accepts
Deskew estimates small scan angles locally, rasterizes compatible pages and creates a separate image-based PDF.
| Input feature | Current behavior | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| PDF, JPG or PNG source | Accepted | The selected scan is processed in this browser. |
| Text-line angle up to 5° | Corrected | A conservative projection estimate drives the local rotation. |
| Large skew, OCR or text layer | Not provided | This tool does not recognize text or promise automatic correction beyond its bounded angle. |
| Forms, annotations and signatures | Rasterized | The output is an image-based PDF and does not preserve interactive semantics. |

Questions and limits
Does my file leave this device?
No file content is sent by this tool. The active processing path runs in this browser and is covered by an automated egress test.
Does PigPDF change my source file?
No. The source stays unchanged and PigPDF creates a separate output file.
Which current limits apply?
One PDF, JPG or PNG. Pages are rasterized locally at up to 30 pages and 120 megapixels; only small scan angles up to 5° are corrected and the result is a new image-based PDF.
