What this beta accepts

The same conservative document checks used by Merge PDF protect against silent form or signature loss. Page previews are rendered lazily to limit unnecessary memory use.

Questions and limits

Do my PDF pages leave this device?

No file content is sent by this tool. PDF.js inspects and previews the document, while the structural split runs in a dedicated browser worker. The processing modules are covered by an automated egress test.

How do page ranges work?

Each comma-separated item creates one output PDF. For example, 1-3, 4-7, 8 creates three files containing pages 1–3, pages 4–7 and page 8.

Can I split every page?

Yes, for documents up to 100 pages in the current beta. Larger documents can still use selected pages or up to 100 custom ranges.

Does it work offline?

After this route and its processing assets have loaded successfully once, the installed PigPDF PWA can reopen the cached Split PDF workspace offline on the same device. Browser storage can be cleared by the user or operating system.
