Questions and limits

What happens to transparent PNG areas?

Every PDF page receives a white background before the PNG is drawn. Transparent areas therefore appear white instead of depending on a viewer-specific page background.

Can each PNG use a different page orientation?

Yes. Choose Auto per image with A4 or US Letter pages, or choose Match each image so every page follows its own proportions.

Are PNG images cropped?

No. Images are contained inside the selected page and margin. The beta does not enlarge and crop images to fill the page.

Are the images uploaded?

No file content is sent by this tool. Header inspection, image embedding and PDF download run in this browser and are covered by an automated egress test.
