What this beta accepts

The conservative checks below are intentional. They prevent known document features from being silently lost while the broader compatibility corpus is still being expanded.

Questions and limits

Do my PDF files leave this device?

No file content is sent by this tool. PDF.js inspects each selected document and the merge worker creates the result in your browser. The processing path is covered by an automated egress test.

Why are forms and signed PDFs rejected?

Rebuilding a document can break interactive fields or invalidate a digital signature. The current beta rejects those files instead of silently returning a misleading result.

What metadata is copied?

Title, Author, Subject and Keywords from source files are not copied. The new document identifies PigPDF as its Creator and Producer.

Can I change the file order?

Yes. Drag file rows with a pointer, or use the accessible Move up and Move down controls. The output follows the displayed order.
